“Coaching at a small school like SLCC made things challenging, yet it was the thrill of a lifetime. From playing at the Cookson Hills tournament to the NCCAA Div 2 National Tournament, memories abound. While I now miss the sounds of the basketball coming off the SLCC floor, I’m grateful for the many players that stay in contact. After all, it’s not really the games that matter, it’s the guys who left everything on the floor.

SLCC began men’s basketball in 1960/61 and started keeping statistics as early as 1965/66 (at least, those are the oldest ones we have). If you like stats, you’ll like this section of the website. I hope you enjoy looking through everything we’ve kept over the years.”
